EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy technique designed to help people process and heal from traumatic memories. It involves guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while recalling distressing experiences, allowing the brain to reprocess them in a way that reduces their emotional impact. EMDR is widely used for PTSD, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
